Summer has been a bit fickle but it didn't rain on us while we skated along the boardwalk at Alki. In fact, it was comfortably cool.

Raspberry Picking!

Today's event was a huge success! We had seven betties and six-& a-half babies there picking...although many of us were doing more eating. ;)

Most of the ladies there were first-timers at a BB&B event, which is awesome! As Sara put it, "I'm glad I came. I met a really cool mom and just making one new connection makes it worthwhile."

Tradition Lake Hike

Vicky, the girls' grandma, joined us for the Tradition Lake hike.  It was a beautiful sunny day, and the woods were a nice cool place to be.  There were quite a few huckleberry bushes along the way and the girls stopped to pick at each one.  Only one or two salmon berries were to be found, but there were a few caterpillars on the trail and some other interesting flowers to complete the walk.
